How can I make a crispier Boboli® pizza crust?

To achieve the crispness you desire, try baking Boboli® pizza crust at a temperature higher than 450° F, or bake for longer than 8 – 10 minutes. You could even try lowering your oven rack to move Boboli® pizza crust closer to the heating element.

A "proof-of-purchase" is another name for Universal Product Code a bar code (you see them on just about every package you purchase) used for scanning by the check- out person.

 

What is your guidance on allergenic ingredients for highly-sensitive consumers?

Wheat, soy, milk, eggs, fish and shellfish ingredients may be present in the bakeries. We follow all of the Good Manufacturing Practices established by the FDA for cleaning after an allergen is run on the line. To determine if any allergens are used in a specific product, please refer to the packaging which lists all ingredients present in the product or this information can be viewed on SmartLabel when the QR code on the package is scanned.

 

Can I reseal the Boboli® pizza crust package after opening?

Your Boboli® pizza crust should be used shortly after opening the package. However while Boboli® packaging is not resealable, you may store your leftover crust in a sealed plastic bag.

 

What is that brown stuff on top of my Boboli® pizza crust?

The "brown stuff" is our delicious oven-baked mozzarella cheese — one of the ingredients that give Boboli® pizza crust its hearty flavor.

Are the mono- and diglycerides in Boboli® products derived from an animal or vegetable source?

Mono- and diglycerides have earned a Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) status by the U.S Food and Drug Administration. They are naturally present in fats and have been used with a high confidence of safety for many years. We use mono- and diglyceriedes that are derived from vegetables in our products.

 

Do Boboli® products contain any hydrogenated oils or fats?

Hydrogenation is a process in which hydrogen is added to oils to make them more solid. Hydrogenated oils are commonly used by many in the baking industry to help make products moist, easier to slice and stay fresh longer. However, all of our products are free of hydrogenated oils and fats.

 

Are Boboli® products Kosher?

Our products that are Kosher are designated as such on the packaging.

 

Is the Boboli® pizza crust packaging recyclable?

The Boboli film is a mixture of #1 and #4 and should be recycled with #7 (other plastics).
