Pizza Margherita Con Carciofo
Ingredients
1 12" Boboli® Original Pizza Crust
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Pinch Crushed Red Pepper
1 tsp. Garlic, minced
Pinch Salt
Pinch Pepper
1 Ripe Tomato, sliced
1/4 c. Fresh Basil Leaves
1/2 c. Artichoke Hearts, chopped
1/4 c. Grated Parmesan
1/2 c. Shredded Asiago
1/2 c. Shredded Mozzarella
1/4 c. Grated Romano
1 tsp. Italian seasoning (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 450° F.
Cook time 8 – 10 minutes
Place pizza crust on prepared baking sheet. Mix olive oil, crushed red pepper, and minced garlic. Brush on crust. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add a layer of tomato slices. Evenly spread the basil leaves over the tomatoes, then follow with the chopped artichoke hearts. Mix together the four cheeses, and spread evenly over the top of the pizza. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes or until cheese is light golden brown and bubbly.
Alternate Methods
For 8" pizza crust, use 2/3 ingredients.
